While Singstar Guitar, lacks the progression that Rock Band and Guitar Hero offer, we don’t really think it was made to compete with these games anyway. To me us seems Singstar Guitar has been created to give those standing around watching something to do with their hands and in this respect it does a good job.

The main appeal of Singstar Guitar is that it’s still Singstar, and given that millions of people love this series, adding guitar functionality for those not so fond of singing can only be a good thing.
