From the looks of it the PS3 is a tad more sharper(which I like) and a little brighter. The brightness can be a good or bad thing depending on your preference. I like games to be a bit darker.

finaly the ps3 is starting to win some of these comparisons, it started with ff13 and its been on a roll ever since. the 360 version looks blurry.

Mostly because my PS3 demo looks more like their 360 pics. Honestly, it's like they washed out the colors for the PS3 version, and applied a blur filter to the 360 version.

If you play it on an old TV with RBG Cables you can call fake all day. I play it on a Bravia and it looks just like that.

Oh, boys! Please calm down. I'm starting to REALLY tire of the comparison sites now. In every year this generation the comparisons and the methods used to find a "winner" get more and more desperate-it's pointless! Is this new DB game the most graphically advanced one on either the PS3 or the 360? Does it outstrip Gears2 or Uncharted2 respectively? No. Was it ever going to? No. Like every other multi the main goal on the looks and framerate is to get the two versions as close as possible. This whole generation there was only The Orange Box and it's awful PS3 port that made me change to getting a multi on the 360 rather than on my preferred PS3 and the DS3 controller. Seriously, are we really arsed about screen tears that you need a program to detect? Same for FPS? Differences you would never see with the naked eye are held up as evidence of a victor in all this, ffs!

Being frank I doubt there's anything to be learned about either consoles relative strength from multiplatform games right now cos the devs and publishers are loathe to alienate half their market by allowing one or the other to really shine-so it won't happen. Last gen the Xbox was an irrelevance sales wise so devs could allow it to shine a bit brighter than the PS2 at times but this gen with them so close we won't ever see it happen. The differences they hold up as game changing are largely nothing you would ever notice in normal gaming and without having them running side by side anyway so can't we just drop all this and play our multis on the console we like or with the controller we like best? Sure, if there's another foul up like TOB(or, I'm told FF13 was quite bad on the 360 in comparison to the PS3 version-though not in TOB PS3's league!)THEN we may have to change to the other console(whichever it might be)but, surely, we aren't bothered by the kinds of tiny framerate dips or shadows being slightly dimmer on one version, are we?

Stop the madness already. Do we honestly need all this bunkum with the same arguments week in and week out when there's really no points to be scored whatsoever anyway?

looks like the 360 version is using quincunx AA for some reason, makes it look terrible. PS3 version looks much better just because of that.

i do like how people are claiming that this game looking better on the PS3 proves the PS3 is more powerful lol. it looks like a PS2 game, hardly pushing the technical boundaries.

Well after looking at both, noticing that there the same textures at the same resolution. Theres actually not much difference at all except the blur which would cause it to look darker and not as sharp or clear. which in all would leave to preference sense after looking at the head to head's it was clearly a development decision and not something that the ps3 had over the xbox 360 or vise versa sense both systems have had plenty of games more taxing on the system than this. The only issue with the non blurred version is that if there is a frame rate drop it'll be more noticeable than the blurred version sense thats how most development teams decide how to hide frame rate drops these days anyways also for any ps3 fanboys that say that this proves that the ps3 is more powerful don't bother i've seen the ps3 drop frame rate all the time. Which i don't know why we still have that argument now days anyways you can look at the specs and see that the ps3 has been built with more power considering its suppose to be a long term system anyways, its practically a damn computer just not as good. All in all not much difference in this game just boils down to preference really.
