Microsoft says Xbox 360 wheel overheats
Microsoft is planning to replace parts of their $130 steering wheel after 50 complaints of it overheating and emitting smoke. Microsoft says when the wheel is plugged into an outlet, it has issues with overheating, but that it is safe to use when battery powered. The company plans to ship replacement parts for the defective wheels, but gives no indication of what it could cost to replace the possibly defective 230,000 peripherals.
