Many gamers are asking for it, yet the developers of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II have decided to go the traditional route and use good old controllers with analog sticks, d-pads and buttons, instead of the Playstation Move and the Wii-Motion Plus.
Here's some reasons straight from the mouth of the developers as to why they decided to do that, and what we can expect for the future of the evasive "properly - done" motion-controlled Lightsaber.
Plus, how motion controlled melee combat has failed before, where it has worked out successfully and what that all means for the future.

Would be super awesome to switch on and off your light saber (dual or single handed) with the move button whenever, wherever in the game. Maybe annoy your friends who are watching you play Force unleashed 2 by Switching on off on off and they shout "STOP DOING THAT! THE SOUND EFFECT IS ANNOYING YOU -BLEEP-n IDIOT!"
hahaha looking forward to it
