Playstation Move support for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II?

Many gamers are asking for it, yet the developers of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II have decided to go the traditional route and use good old controllers with analog sticks, d-pads and buttons, instead of the Playstation Move and the Wii-Motion Plus.

Here's some reasons straight from the mouth of the developers as to why they decided to do that, and what we can expect for the future of the evasive "properly - done" motion-controlled Lightsaber.

Plus, how motion controlled melee combat has failed before, where it has worked out successfully and what that all means for the future.

Cool... Looking forward to it!

Judging by Force Unleashed gameplay, you'd be flailing your arms around like a little retard. If they dumb it down, say a combo is only one swipe in a single direction then people will complain that it isn't hardcore enough...

Not even Bruce Lee can keep up with the combo speed in Unleashed. It would have to be a whole new game.

Imagine a Move Star Wars game like Red Steel 2 on the Killzone 3 engine.

dual wield the light saber then sold. Hopefully, there will be move support for future Harry Potter games like Sorcery.

Maybe slow motion parts let you use the Moves 1 to 1 tracking somehow?

star wars would be awesome with move

llMurcielagoll5320d ago

Would be super awesome to switch on and off your light saber (dual or single handed) with the move button whenever, wherever in the game. Maybe annoy your friends who are watching you play Force unleashed 2 by Switching on off on off and they shout "STOP DOING THAT! THE SOUND EFFECT IS ANNOYING YOU -BLEEP-n IDIOT!"

hahaha looking forward to it

I can't imagine waving my Move around for hours slashing the empty air would be good for my shoulder.

Close_Second5320d ago

...but its probably better for you than sitting round on your ass for the same amount of time just twiddling your thumbs.

seinfan5320d ago

Yeah, let's all look like we masturbate for extended periods of time when the arm starts to bulk up.

Hideo_Kojima5320d ago

If you play to much you will look like Quagmire when he discovered internet porn.

PlayStation Move Controller Used to Perform Surgery on a Pig That Was 5,780 Miles Away

A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.

jznrpg208d ago

There is at least a few good jokes that could come from that title

Cacabunga207d ago

Yet another powerful device Sony gave up supporting. KZ3 move was one of the best motion controller implementation ever

just_looken207d ago

Right the ps move was awesome i have the gun thing from killzone still.

Relientk77208d ago

That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.

Lexreborn2207d ago

Guess that submarine should’ve used move controllers instead of logitech
