Lots of people enjoy debating the most overrated video games of all time. For each person who praises Final Fantasy VII, Halo and Gears of War, there’s another who refuses to agree that those aforementioned hits met the hype, and that’s fine. We love these types of arguments. In this case, though, we decided to look at the most overhyped games of 2011, the potential blockbusters that may fall into the overrated category.

As PlayStation celebrates its 30th anniversary, let's explore the best PlayStation games Sony has to offer.
There's too many games to choose from
No Metal geat solid 1,2,3,4?
No Resident evil?
No Silent hill?
No Midnight club 3?
No NfS Underground 2?
No Final Fantasy?
No Burnout 3?
No Dragon quest 8?
No Days gone?
No Ace combat?
No Tekken/Soul calibur?......
just from the top of my head
PS1 era was full of great RPGs, PS2 was racing generation i would pick top 200 and even that would be just a fraction.
Will PlayStation bring back some classic Twisted Metal games?
TM3 is my favorite but I'll take what they bring out gladly. Fun times back in the day and great soundtracks
Lego 2K Drive features an exciting mode called Brick Brawl, inspired by Twisted Metal. Players can create, share, and upload various cars, including ones like Sweet Tooth. The game boasts thousands of custom cars, ranging from the Batmobile to the Sweet Tooth ice cream truck.
Never understood the like for the series. Not my bag but I know a lot of gamers are clamoring for a new game and liked the TV. Series
Twisted Metal: Black is when the series really hit for me. I still love that game so much. It was kind of downhill for the series after that IMO. I'd love to see the series go back to its roots, but I don't hold out a lot of hope for David Jaffe coming back from where he is these days to oversee development of a competent sequel.
For those who don't have time for massive open worlds or role-playing games with epic tales, these 15 games are worth checking out.
Overyhyped implies "put in a better light than the game itself deserves"
And since none of these games are out, how do we know they're overhyped?
Obviously, no one here watches sports. Otherwise, you'd have a new perspective on what overhyped means. Would you call a team 5 games into an 82 game season overhyped, or would you insist on waiting until the season's over? FYI, the first part.
Halo: Reach ... Yeah, it's in 2010 but whatever..
So any game getting constant coverage is overhyped?
is probably gonna be descent but it's not going to be the Halo killer every ps3 fanboy hopes it will be...
Just like Killzone 2 and 1 before it. lol
