Call of Duty: Black Ops official Trophy / Achievement list confirmed

*Contains Spoilers* Yes, that's right, the trophies & achievements for Call of Duty: Black Ops has been confirmed by community manager Josh Olin on twitter. But be careful, they do contain spoilers!

What I find most peculiar is, gamers, all over the world, hate Activision yet they show that hate by throwing hundreds of dollars a pop at them for their shovel ware. This game will play just like all the other COD games, yet you will all buy it. Not taking into account it's published by the very same Company you all despise.

It's like hating someone, not because they're lousy, but because they're too good at what they do. Strange relationship you all have in gaming.

You've missed the point. I don't hate Activision. I also, on that note, don't play their games, either. I've never played a COD game in my life. I've seen COD played and they all look the same. Yet people buy them. From, mind you, a company gamers claim to hate.

Doesn't change the fact that most all the games in the COD series are fun. People who focus on hating these companies probably need to relax and refocus on why they're fans of gaming in the first place.

The MW games are so easy to pick up and play. So an easier shooter + constant play (respawns, quick matches) means lots of people sticking with it.

I know I compare it to SOCOM a lot, since that's my favorite "hardcore" shooter, but a perfect example is my friend who has a 1:2 K/D ratio on SOCOM but plays it once a month, compared to MW2 where he has a 2:1 and can play that game for hours at a time.

Just shows how addicting it is for those people

Thats exactly what ill be doing, complete it on veteran first, cod games are the only games hat make me want to play it out on the hardest setting for some reason

I'm just going to assume there are radioactive, human-hungering, butt-scatchin', experimental freak monkeys in the game and this is why this achievement "I hate monkeys" exits, which is to "Kill 7 monkeys in under 10 seconds in the Rebirth labs".

the classified achievements/trophies are for entering prestige for the first time and the tenth time (or last prestige), depends if they put more than 10 prestiges.

They had Prestige Achievements on Xbox 360. Both worth 0 gamerscore, but they were there to keep you from getting 100% completion unless you went into 10th Prestige.
