North American and Europe online games publisher gamigo (The Witcher: Versus, Black Prophecy) has announced its acquisition of Golfstar, a popular golf MMO developed by Com2uS.
The golf game features realistic graphics and responsive gameplay. Up to 30 golfers can participate in a flight, and play simultaneously, reducing the need to sit and wait as other golfers take their turn.
It may be a free game, but it’s still not worth the price.
GameZebo: GolfStar is a free-to-play golfing game where you can upgrade and customize your golfer, hit the course and rack up some birdies. Gamezebo’s quick start strategy guide will provide you with detailed images, tips, information, and hints on how to play your best game.
Pocket Gamer: Let's be honest: the humble golf game has barely changed since programmers first simulated the sport back in the day.
Over time, those programmers might have delivered better visuals and taken a few brave stabs at updating those tried-and-trusted core mechanics, but, in essence, it's a genre stuck in a rut.
