DHGF - Since 1990, Smash T.V. took the roots planted by concepts such as the movie Running Man and has long left mankind to wonder when they might be able to sport red or blue spandex and risk their life for VCRs and years’ supplies of meat in front of a national audience. Here in 2010, we’ve hardly made any progress toward such an endeavor, but at least Uber Entertainment decided to give us Monday Night Combat during the Summer of Arcade promotion. While the title is ultimately a mix of other shooting game concepts (although it is lacking in the spandex), the developer chose its spots wisely to bring players a fast-paced, competitive shooter that is well worth the time and money.
If you’re an Xbox One owner, these titles are as good as any when it comes to pure, trigger-finger fun.
Rainbow Six, Halo 5, MCC, BF4, PVZGW1/2, Gears
I think thats all you need. Hardline is good too.
How did Monday Night Combat make this list? Where is PvZ?
Shoot Many Robots? WTF
No Titan Fall?
If he get to include backwards compatable games like Shadow Complex (accually really like that one) where is Borderlands 2!
Although the author isn't bombing on any game or claiming any are the best. Just sounds like a list of games he likes. So to that, enjoy playing what you like.
SteamFirst: How often do you log onto your Steam client and see in the top right corner your wallet balance with only a few dollars left. Oh how I hate having Steam cash just sitting there going to waste. There are always some excellent FTP titles available such as Team Fortress 2, Warframe and DOTA 2, but sometimes you want to branch out from free to play. This article is a list of my personal top 5 Steam titles that you can spend your last five bucks on.
Imo Dota 2 tops everything out there right now and its free. Sure it has items you could buy for the game but those are purely cosmetic.
I personally love the Glados kill announcer in dota 2, hilariously funny.
Ahh, yes. My next article which is pending is my top 5 free to play and dota 2 is number one. This is inexpensive, but not free games. Feel free to comment and suggest other titles which you prefer. We all have our own opinions. Right.
I just downloaded the Steam App last night for the first time. WOW. I cant believe what I've been missing. The Mods alone make it so much better than console. And with the Big Picture mode it plays just like a console. The dashboard is actually better than X1 or PS4. I just ordered a GTX 670 graphics card so I can rock the Skyrim upscaling mods. I had no idea what I had been missing.
TGH Writes: "Raptr is a great service that allows gamers to compare stats and milestones across all consoles and gaming devices. When Raptr launched Raptr Rewards many were skeptical but now it seems everyone wants a piece of the action. This time they are giving out Monday Night Combat and Super Monday Night Combat codes. "
