TMA: I’m not sure if I should feel so weak in the knees every time I turn on Supermarket Management HD, but golly I do. Time management games can be fun, but when they are made with as perfect a rhythm and the cutest of graphics as SMHDis , they are the sweetest of high school romances. What follows is a true love story.
A lot of the basis behind Supermarket Management 2 is also much like the Diner Dash series. Players control a supermarket and find themselves having to serve customers quickly, replenish the shelves with stock, as well as show customers to the right aisle and collect shopping carts. It’s a potentially frantic concept but Supermarket Management 2 does a decent job of gradually introducing these key elements.
148apps: Supermarket Management HD is an obvious riff on the Diner Dash games. It’s not a bad game, but it fails to offer anything new or original.
P*N: OK, I’m going to be straight up honest, I have never been a fan of time management games — period. I find them to be boring, repetitive and completely monotonous. This game especially isn’t aimed towards me, I mean just look at the screenshots. It’s aimed at pre-pubescent girls who love shopping, bright colors and saying “Oh My God” a lot.
