AppTilt: DoDonPachi Resurrection Review

AppTilt: Cave’s mastery of top-down, ‘bullet hell’ shooters is legendary, their arcade and eventual home console conversions showcasing some of the very best work in the genre. DoDonPachi Resurrection takes the coin-op portion of DoDonPachi and wraps an iPhone specific version around it, creating one of the most visually demanding games on the platform; so demanding, in fact, that the game requires the latest models, starting at an iPhone 3GS and working upwards to the 4, taking in the 3rd gen Touch and the iPad along the way.
