This just looks the same as the Laguna maps. Dice is Bunk with a capitol B. This guy is trying to play up the MODE PACKS like theres value there LMAO. If these guys actually listened to the community, we would have had new maps by now, and maybe we would have gotten Co-op included with the release of BC2.

Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 had co-op included, CoD: WaW and MW2 had Co-op included, GRAW 2 had co-op included, Resistance 2 had co-op included, Uncharted 2 had co-op included........what the F**K DICE???

There are new maps, not just modes. It's also weapons, vehicles, and perks/gadgets. ALSO, there is already co-op, its called onslaught.

Yeah, you have to pay for co-op in BC2, all the games I mentioned above you got it with the game when it came out. You're the one that needs to get your facts straight....there have been no new maps. I got my platinum trophy for that game, so I'm 100% sure I have my facts straight.

It's an expansion pack for Bad Company 2, so you will need a copy of BC2 in order to play the Vietnam add-on.

Of giving us another viet nam game, they just give us some more friggin MAPS for the original BC2. There are a LOT of us that still love that game.

Rather than fragmenting the userbase with stupid mods that bring us back to old wars we've fought a thousand times, how about some NEW maps for the CURRENT userbase?

$15 is more than reasonable for an expansion pack. This isn't a map pack like IW offered. These are 4 new maps, new vehicles, weapons, time setting, and factions. You're lucky this isn't a separate disc priced at $39.99. Because that's what happened with SSF4 and that looks just like regular SF4 with just some new characters. If you think $15 wouldn't be a fair price, then I don't understand gamers' standards when it comes to putting a price on quality and content.

We already got new vehicles with the disc locked content in Port Valdez and Atacama.

Yay new weapons!!! I finally get to use the Ak-47!!! Oh wait, I had access to the AK-47 back in March. It's called the AEK!

New factions? Dude it's the US Army and Viets. Who cares about what factions are in the game because they both have the same exact shit. It's not like different factions use different weapons or have different abilities of some sort.

So exactly what am I paying $15+ for?

I better be lucky this isn't Activision? EA is hardly better. Keeping content away from us and trying to pass it off as free map packs? It's September and we STILL don't have access to all of our maps in every game mode. The maps were on the disc AT LAUNCH yet they are keeping us away from them. Yeah dude that's such a great thing EA and DICE are doing for us -_-

Oh and not to mention, you won't be able to use any of those weapons and other things in the original Bad Company 2. So you're stuck playing 4 maps and 4 maps only for a very long time if you want to play Vietnam.

RonXD, you're obviously one of those people who pick at everything a developer offers to their customers. And you should stop telling people how DICE/EA are trying to screw you over. They're simply offering an expansion, you don't need it to play Bad Company 2. They're not going to give it away for free or nearly free, so stop feeling like they're obligated to do so. You said you wouldn't buy it if it's more than $10. You know they're not going to give away an expansion pack for $10. Let's not complain about DICE/EA because they're STILL supporting BC2 even though Medal of Honor is only a month away. That support is non-existent with Treyarch and IW. IW has stopped supporting Modern Warfare 2 since Treyarch's September 1 reveal of Black Ops. They barely support it for a year then stop once the new installment is around the corner. DICE is supporting the hell out of their game... if things are broken, they patch it. And they probably haven't added all the maps to all the game modes because of balancing issues (you know, that thing every FPS player complains about) -- not every map is good for every game mode.

For the love of god dice, bring back the classes!. I'm tired of seeing any other class other than the engi with shotguns. You had a good thing going with the first bad company. I will be buying this just for the the fact that it's in a time period where most of the weapons DIDN'T have optics. I'm tired of getting killed by an MG3 from half a mile away, just because they didn't have bullet drop. Seriously you add bullet drop to the recon class, make it go away when they add a red dot or acog, and then you can fire an M16 with laser accuracy for unlimited range? How did you miss this?

I'm with you there, pretty stupid that they add bullet drop for sniper rifles but not any other weapon. You can shot someone with sniper accuracy and distance with pistols, shotguns, along with every other weapon on this game. I've also lost faith in EA and dice with this map pack vip BS. They are no better than those hacks at activision with all their lies. I'm sure I'll get plenty of disagrees from all the blind sheep on here. The reason the gaming community doesn't get free maps or expansions anymore is because of the stupid casual gamers that will pay anything for crap so the real gamers that have been around for decades get screwed by the new ignorant generation.

Just like WW2 shooters, it just doesn't seem appealing to go back to the old battlefields unless they truly recreate the jungle and guerrilla warfare of the Vietnam War.

i wonder if the guns will be compatible with the original maps as well i need more maps and guns..definitely not enough guns i lost *some* interest* once i got all the guns,still a great game but needs more content ..defiantly getting this!

just hope a lot of people buy it and your stats get added. I hate that onslaught gives you nothing. But this also has a full Mplayer style. I will be getting this so long as its no more than 15. They start talking 20 or more they better have a story mode to go with that.
