No Added Sugar's Gerard attempts to explain the revolutionary combat of the Halo series in part two of the Halo Chronicle. What makes the 30 seconds of fun tick? Why is the Legendary difficulty more fun than the lower difficulties? How is the Artificial Intelligence so good?
This Halo CE mod allows a new way to play co-op, but probably in the worst possible way.
This looks like cursed halo at its finest, love it. They need to bring mods to consoles.
Halo multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer has never been asked to record audiobooks for the franchise's expanded universe.
Halo multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer reveals he auditioned for the role of Master Chief but lost it to the iconic Steve Downes.
The announcer was canonized as being an AI character in universe. No offence to Jeff Steitzer, but his voice might be a bit too over the top for Master Chief.
Magic?
Anyone else find that the Legendary difficulty is the most fun to play? I'm only a middling FPS player, but in the likes of GoldenEye I can't say I found playing on 00 Agent to be the most fun experience!
I think the shield recharging is one of the biggest gameplay innovations in Halo. Dual-wielding not so much- I don't understand why people seem to think it originated there!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Halo does very little that's new or innovative, but but what it does do is get FPS mechanics damn near spot on.
Halo definately has FPS going on now, but it didn't when it first came out. Clunky mess! They've streamlined it a lot though. I think the Legendary difficulty becomes fun for this reason, turning Halo into a kind of realistic combat sim rather than a space blaster.
