It's not like Quran is that different from the bible...same God, same prophets (except Muhammad), almost the same laws. Yes, there is a difference, but it's a lot alike as well.

The religious references are about as obnoxious as the ones in Xenosaga or Evangelion or The Matrix.

You see, folks don't give enough respect to the Halo Lore. It is one of THE deepest stories in the industry.

And if Jason Jones (Founder of Bungie/Creator of Halo) says that his next universe will outstrip Halo, then I believe him wholeheartedly. The man made a brilliant story with Halo.

Puhlease! You don't realize how many stories in main stream media today make references from the bible. It's the only book that has lived throughout all of time( along with the other holy books) so of course main stream media is going to use it. Everything from Harry potter to lord of the rings references things from the bible. That halo story is still not very impressive with it's two hour long campaigns. Sorry. Bungie has made gaming history though so congrats to them!
