Halo Reach set for blockbuster midnight release
Tonight is the night when Halo Reach, the latest highly anticipated Microsoft Xbox 360 installment of the Halo franchise is officially released at stores worldwide at 00:00 hrs.
Microsoft’s entertainment director, Stephen McGill, told the games industry newspaper MCV that it was the firms “biggest Halo release ever… The marketing campaign for Halo: Reach sees a 60% increase over what was spent on Halo 3″.
One example of Halo Reach’s marketing campaign took place today in Trafalgar Square, London, United Kingdom. A stuntman wearing full SPARTAN armor and jetpack flew around Trafalgar Square to promote the launch of the latest Halo video game.
