Norwegian rally star Petter Solberg was recently testing Black Beans FIA World Rally Championship game. It looks like a promising car game and we hope that the developer is able to create the rally feeling for the player.
Its cool that the the new Wrc game is going to bee released to all game platforms, earlier the Wrc game titles only came out on Ps2.
"Ah, rallying. The pinnacle of all motorsports, the one that, above all others, tests the driver's skill more than it tests the machine, challenging his navigational skills, his endurance, his improvisational skills, and of course, his pure driving mettle.
It's essentially the most challenging form of motorsport, which is why it's kind of surprising how it has not yet been adapted into a proper video games, especially since racing video games of all forms are dime a dozen, and since the format lends itself particularly well to video games in general."
Milestone released new media relating the Vita version of Mud: FIM Motocross World Championship including footage for three tracks, and a variety of screenshots. The game ships in Europe October 12, and while a North American release hasn't been announced the studio is teasing it.
This week VVV’s Alan Boiston was given the opportunity to gain a first hands-on Black Bean’s official game based on the World Rally Championship. Given the somewhat disappointing experience offered by the previous WRC titles hopes were not all that high that this third iteration would do anything to alter that impression. However following this hands-on it does appear WRC 3 has exceeded expectations and could quite frankly be, a bit good.
I really, really want to like the WRC games but the last two just... didn't do it for me, hopefully this one does. Would be nice to have a proper rally game again since Dirt has completely gone to hell.
