Ode to the Modder

….whether you play on a PC or console, our game modders have a huge influence on the innovation of our games. The amount of skill and creativity that come from this dedicated group of people is nothing short of amazing. The best part is that they do not create the mods and maps for the money, instead they create them because they have a passion and love for the game. It seems like they are always thinking of new and astounding ways to manipulate the stock gaming experience to something that feels like a brand new game, but I am afraid that the species that we know as “game modder” may be soon extinct.
