Germans Love PlayStation Move

According to some recent sales data, it appears that Germans love the PlayStation Move about as much as they love David Hasselhoff… Which is a lot!

The German branch of the world’s largest online retailer, Amazon.de is now completely sold out of PlayStation Move Starter Bundles. We’re reporting on this news for two reasons – to urge you to pre-order now, so you aren’t Move-less on launch day – and – because we wanted to bring up a long running Saturday Night Live joke from ex-Weekend Update anchor, Norm MacDonald where he insists Germans love David Hasselhoff.

Since Sony admittedly isn’t expecting major day one sales of the PlayStation Move, there might be a chance that Sony will be more on the conservative side with Move production, making it a bit hard to find on launch day. If this sell out on the world’s largest online retailer is any indication, that might just be the case. To ensure you have a PlayStation Move on launch date, we suggest you put your pre-order in now.

I'm awaiting the PS3 trolls to flaunt this and the xbox 360 trolls to bring up kinect pre-orders.

I wasn't aware that Amazon alone represents the buying demands of Germany? lol..As you said eggbert, only trolls take this crap seriously. Good for a laugh though.

"Kinect will destroy Move this holiday season in sales"

lol.. I think ur crazy, not because your statement is wrong..but because u feel the need to mention it in an article thats completely irrelated to your statement. Btw...why are you concerned about who outsells who? How does that benefit you?

OMG; the Sales!

Lately Xbox 360 Fanboys (Omega, Big Silky to mention few ones) only care for the sales and Pre orders! But not the quantity and quality of games.

As you can see below.

btk4837d ago

That excuse will be over in three months time when Kinect sales start lagging after the initial release hype sales.
Then they will start hyping "future potential" and ignore sales, games and quality.

Oldsnake0074837d ago

in Germany it's like 4 mil ps3 vs 1-2 mil 360. Germany is Sony land.

big_silky4837d ago

Everybody hates Christ ... That's racist !!

Elven64837d ago

Pick up a book kid and pray you'll never live in a country where intimidation and "thuggery" is used to "sway" votes. This doesn't even include what'll begin after power is taken.

Montoya4837d ago

You basically just descibed the USA.

lonix4837d ago

Like arnold schwarzenegger

fireplace4837d ago

It doesnt't change the fact that it was germans who loved him and his ideology.

n4gno4837d ago (Edited 4837d ago )

like more than 50% of americans loved bush, and xbox more than ps3.

it's not because some people are wrong, dumbs, brainwashed than everyone else in the country is.

"Kinect will destroy Move this holiday season in sales"

If you are right (we never know with brainless people), it would just be a sad thing, again, the sheep would be choosing inferior hardware, with no games. so who can enjoy that kind of sad result ? not gamers.

MisterNiwa4837d ago

This made me laugh hard.

(And I am german.)
