Cryptic Not Ruling Out Payment Methods for Neverwinter

In an interview with Gamasutra, COO Jack Emmert of Cryptic Studios stated Atari had no intention of simply slapping a price on Neverwinter. The developer instead stated they envisioned the title growing over time, and that they planned to “continue to add content to,” possibly through micro transactions or other methods such as a subscription fee.
