GHIII Bangs the Drums
Today at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival Activision debuted a new song to be included in Guitar Hero III. "She Bangs the Drums," as made famous by The Stone Roses, was apparently performed before an audience at the event.
The second single from The Stone Roses debut album, "She Bangs the Drums" was the band’s first top 40 UK hit in 1989. Activision is touting the song as more evidence that its GHIII track listing will span many eras and genres.
"The Edinburgh Interactive Festival is all about the culture of gaming," states Zach Fountain, General Manager, RedOctane Europe. "The Guitar Hero franchise has already established itself as part of mainstream pop culture, so it was a perfect place to unveil one of our UK-originated songs. The Guitar Hero road show moves from here to Leipzig, where we’ll be announcing a whole new stack of European songs for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock."
