Hello Games: 10% of Joe Danger Players Have Actually Finished It

Joystiq: "Usually, when we purchase a game, we intend to experience as much of it as we can. Call us crazy, but isn't that the point? According to a blog entry over on Edge from Hello Games' Sean Murray, his studio's recent PSN release, Joe Danger, only had a 10 percent completion rate."

I'm in that 10%. It was unbelievably difficult towards the end. I played the 2nd to last level over 1000 times (no joke)

I was also amazed just at how many levels there were in the game. I thought I'd be finished in a few hours. It took me weeks.

Joe Danger is AWESOME!!

yup that second to last level is the hardest in the game by far, took me 600 tries(it counted for me) and a strained wrist from holding the R2 so long. But one of the most satisfying games I've ever beaten.

MmaFanQc5410d ago

because i had a trip to brazil the next day, but i plan to finish it later this month.

It was hard, but 600+ tries?

dead_eye5409d ago

i still ain't finished it. dont think i'm even half way through and it's already a hard game. very good game too.

despair5408d ago

alot of the tries lasted a few seconds seconds because of faulty start or missed timing early on.

Awesome game. Incredibly fun and challenging...I will not let it beat me.

callahan095410d ago

I finished it! I don't have 100% trophies though. Some of the challenge stars are too tough for me, but I do have most of them.

It's great that so many people in this thread say they love the game, but personally it's not my thing at all.

Actually, I almost didn't finish the demo. I say almost because, if it'd been one level longer, I wouldn't have played the extra level. Turned out the last level I was willing to play was actually the last level of the demo.

I found it repetitive, and didn't find the gameplay fun at all. But hey, like I said, that's me and my tastes. Great that you guys love it.

What an amazing story, Joe Danger was a fantastic game and hearing about these kinds of stories makes me much happier than hearing adults bicker back and forth about which animations a game is re-using and the amount of pixels on the screen.

This is what gaming is really about and I feel like some people just tend to forget that
