Mass Effect 2 to utilize PlayStation Move?

E4G: There has been a ton of buzz going around today when Electronic Arts announced that Mass Effect 2 will be coming to the PlayStation 3 in January of 2011. This had been rumored for a very long time but now Xbox 360's owners can not call the game a console exclusive anymore.

Nice. Nice. Nice.

This is why the Move is awesome, it really can be applied to any type of gaming expierence. While I was recently playing ME2, I was thinking how awesome it would be with the Move cause you pretty frequently "stop time" w/ the command/weapon list anyway and it would make it easier to select targets. I`m sooooo re-buying this game for the PS3, I`m want some details on the bonus content.

ME2 with MOVE = AWESOMENESS
weeee lol

Highly unlikely, IMHO. Enough work alone to port it, now to implement Move controls and test the full game elements with it all the way through (mini games, shooting, abilities, etc. throughoug the whole game and all DLC).

But what about the first one. Is there a point in releasing ME2 when ME isn't on PS3 yet?

Might play it if it's a good port, but I'm not sure if Move support is needed...

anast194d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine194d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast194d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman194d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave441d ago (Edited 441d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
