Hello again! This is Ollie Barder from doublesix. Since I spoke here last, the studio has been really busy with Top Gun – a new air combat game for the PlayStation Network based on the classic 80′s film. Needless to say it’s been a lot of fun making Top Gun and I’m happy to announce you can download Top Gun starting tomorrow (August 17th) on PSN. Screeching across a blue sky in a F-14 Tomcat will never get old.
In the absence of a Top Gun: Maverick videogame, we look back at Doublesix's underrated Top Gun from 2010.
It's not a bad game, and the version i have includes the movie. Same with days of thunder and a nascar game on the same disc.
The name top gun haunts me. I have flashbacks of that hell spawn Nintendo game laughing at me attempting to refuel in mid air and trying to land on that f*cking aircraft carrier 🤬🤬😭

OMG!!! i remember playing this game ages ago (around Contra days)... and it supported 2 players. and it ran pretty cool... and some times the console used to hang because of overload... lol. ah... memories.
this looks great too. sad that it's a psn only title. can't buy. give us the PSN CARDS!!!

I buy 90% of everything on the network regardless if it sucks (Pixel Junk Racers-Go Ski-Go Sky Diving-Nova Strike and countless others) so this one is a no brainer for me. It can't be as good as After Burner, which I absolutely fell in love with. 100% the night it came out, all trophies, couldn't put it down. Loved it. I Be buying Top Gun when I get home.
