This would never happen in Japan. Arcade still very huge here

Theonik3107d ago

And that's the way it should be everywhere!

And in my state no less. WTF is wrong with America? We USED TO BE the bastion of FREEDOM and LIBERTY. Now, you can't do a single thing without our government involved.

Nobody goes to arcades anymore except to play dance dance revolution, but it's the principle here. This is bullshit, crazy new york town!

Cookigaki3107d ago

Cookigaki will roundhouse that town in the face until they change law! Fight for your right to arcaaaaade!

arcades went out of style in the 90's

nedensmelly3107d ago

Yeah, but what's next? I haven't been to an arcade in probably 3 or 4 years, but that doesn't mean I'm cool with arcade games being outlawed. Next they'll outlaw Best Buy because they sell games and their car stereo section is always too loud. Do you want that on your conscience? Do you?

We had a Gameworks in Mpls and a Gillian's at the Mall of America, both arcades shut down. Then Dave and Buster's bought out the Gillian's space and even that went under!
