Diehard GameFAN: "I’ve been into the rhythm and music genres off and on now for a number of years. I’ve played and still have the dance mats and copies of Dance Dance Revolution for the PS One and even some for the PS2. I’ve got two guitars sitting next to my TV for Guitar Hero II and Guitar Hero 3 for my PS2. When I got my PS3 though, the love affair ended, not because I don’t enjoy playing them, but because I didn’t want to buy even more crap to sit in my living room taking up space for yet another console."

IGN: DJ Max Portable 3 Review

The long loads, the super-familiar setup and the awkward nature of the options and menus just didn't work for this time around. IGN would still pick a polished experience like Rock band Unplugged over this, and if they really wanted Korean pop, they'd be more inclined to save their money and dust off DJ Max Fever.
