great,the first one was brilliant
can't wait for the sequel

I really dont like to see the Joker all sick like that. So doenst suit him. Hopefully he gets better, so that he can laugh and play as much as he wants without harm.

Damn...I think i belong in Arkham for saying that.

The original B:AA was a great game, but I wish you had the ability to use guns. It's ridiculous that they didn't let you tbh. Just at one point in the game they should have gone "Here's a bad ass weapon, go to town on those cretins", it would have made the game awesome source. Ok scrap that, it would have ruined the balance completely. But still, a silenced pistol would have been nice.

I have high hopes for the sequel, hope it can improve on the original and fix those few areas where it fell down in.

i don't remember when batman have used a gun?
in my opinion i don't want that to happen

Sharingan_no_Kakashi5031d ago

Anyone who knows anything about Batman knows that he hates guns because his parents were killed by them. He swore he'd never use lethal weapons to take down enemies.

Quagmire5031d ago

Batman has never killed anyone, or not on purpose. He doesnt believe in violence as a means of death, but rather as a way of enforcing the law. If he was to use guns, the Joker would be dead within the second Bat caught sight of him.

Batman used a gun in his first two appearances in Detective comics, but he never fires it, he basically points it at the culprits to make a citizen's arrest, which gives him the time to monologue about how he figured the whole thing out.

Guns? Silenced pistols? Haha. That would be funny and very awkward.

@ dark-hollow

From what I remember, on very, very rare occasions.

HE IS A WEAPON, HE DOESN'T NEED GUNS. The combat mechanic in AA was fantastic imo.

keltickennedy5031d ago

Are you being serious? Firstly, Batman doesn't use guns or kill. Secondly, that would of completely ruined the game and pulled many people out of the experience of "playing as Batman". Lastly, one of the things that made the game so refreshing to play was the excellent hand to hand combat, combined with the use of non-lethal gadgets, especially in a time where we see so many games that are just shooters.

I'd have raged if inFamous wasnt included. Glad to see its on the list twice :)

ZeekQuattro4045d ago

The only thing I disagree with on that list is MVC 3. I liked 2 so much better and stopped playing 3 shortly after I bought it because it just wasn't as fun and I missed characters that were in the 2nd one.

Brashcast: Episode 13 – It’s Batman, not Batboy….and that’s a scientific fact

Brash Games writes "Liam and Ross like their Batmen manly, their slim consoles, well, not shit and their normal consoles from a galaxy far, far away. Reggie face-of-meat encourages bullying, Sony still can’t do advertising and Liam almost enjoys Kinect. All this, and as always, so much more".

How To Improve Our Gaming Experience

There are loads of ways to improve our gaming experience. I’m sure there are more than a few out there who’ve happily guzzled some mind-altering drugs and freaked when they came across their first feral ghoul in Fallout 3. You’ve also got those people who like to immerse themselves in the game: from the people screaming sexist and racist insults over headsets while playing [insert FPS of your choice here] to the people who spend mortgage-sized chunks of money to bring their ‘MechWarrior’ fantasies almost to sweaty life. That’s not forgetting the bunch of mates who get together, have a few drinks and gradually get more sullen with each other over Need for Speed or FIFA 2012.
