Gaming Bits writes: "The Scorch for Xbox 360 controller by Bannco offers gamers a decent way to play their favorite shooters on the Xbox 360 with a wireless mouse and thumbstick controller. While the hardware is solidly built, the configuration software is limited and may be difficult to use. Gamers who are willing to spend a significant amount of time tweaking their game settings will find a lot to like about the Scorch."
PlayStation LifeStyle writes: "Unbeknownst to most PlayStation 3 owners, firmware update 3.50 eradicated the ability for gamers to use unlicensed peripherals. This meant a variety of off-brand, aftermarket controllers and peripherals were rendered useless once PS3 owners updated their PS3’s to the latest build. However, thanks to great manufacture support, one of the more critically-acclaimed gaming pads is ready for action for your favorite online titles."
Called the “FragnsteinComboUpgradeV350″, the Bannco first-person shooter enhancement product is fully functional in the smooth aiming mode.
Thats the point of licensed hardware, once they pay the fee than can produce hardware under license. Don't pay and your not licensed to produce hardware. Hence all the crappy quality couterfeit PS3 pads.
BTW people can't sue as ther is no case against Sony.
still i feel sry 4 those who got one of those controllers that arent working anymore... shame... but kind i see why sony did this..
in the end.. is only hackers foult..
Despite Microsoft’s insistence that the Xbox 360 did not require a mouse controller, and that none should be made available, this week’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS) heralded some unexpected news. Not only has a mouse controller been developed for the console, but it’s also shipping to retail globally as you read this.
Personally, I can't wait to use this for RTS games. Maybe it might work with some arcade games that have been ported from the PC.
Microsoft makes some pretty nice mouses. Love my Comfort Optical Mouse 3000. Feels great. Don't see why they haven't looked into one for the 360.
This though, looks interesting.
This is awesome. Now all we need is a keyboard and we're set. This mouse will be great for stuff like RUSE.
I think this should be the control scheme for the next xbox. I like this combo but, not the performance.
