Sega Saturn bullet hell classic DoDonPachi resurrected on iPhone

Japanese developer Cave has just dropped Retro Fusion a line to announce that an iPhone/iPod touch-specific sequel to its classic DoDonPachi coin-op and Sega Saturn hit is ready to hit the iPhone.

DoDonPachi Resurrection is being touted as a direct sequel to DoDonPachi Daioujou – the fourth game in the series that hit the arcades and PS2 back in 2002, and looks (and sounds) insanely awesome.
