Wolf Boy is a 2-D side scrolling beat-em-up starring Toto, a pint-sized hero who transforms into a werewolf during the full moon. Both attractive and challenging, you'll certainly get your dollar's worth. Just don't expect anything particularly sophisticated.
Wolf Boy by NHN Corporation puts you in the all too familiar situation of being on a casual stroll with your 'gal' when all of a sudden... out of nowhere... some 'bad dude' decides to kidnap her. Being a super-powered dynamo of a teen werewolf you set off to take on the near-endless slew of enemies that stand in your way.
It seems like there's been an influx of new 2D beat 'em ups on the App Store in these past few months, and get ready to add another to that list. Wolf Boy [99¢] is a single plane side-scrolling brawler similar to games like Zombieville USA [$1.99 / Free] and Twin Blades [$2.99]. The actual gameplay is rather simplistic, but it features a really appealing art style and best of all it allows you to change from a cute (albeit angry) little boy into a ferocious werewolf to dispatch the many enemies in the game.
AppSafari: A side-scrolling hack and slash, in a similar vein as Zombieland USA, Wolf Boy packs quite a punch into a little game. Gorgeous graphics and sound let you know you’re in for something special from the get go, and the buttery smooth controls and increasingly challenging levels just keep the fun going.
