MMOCrunch.com has 2000 Beta Keys for Divine Souls, a free to play action-MMO that entered closed beta July 14, 2010. Go grab your key and get into the action now!
Divine Souls may not be not the best action MMORPG to come out this year, but it could certainly be a contender. In closed beta it had a number of bugs, none entirely game breaking, but those have been mostly addressed and corrected just in time for the impending open beta. So what is Divine Souls? Does it have anything that sets it apart from the current grind of MMORPG’s on the market? There are a few bad things about it, I’ll admit, but overall, the game does deliver some overwhelmingly good elements.
A well-made MMORPG is immersive, bold, memorable, and dynamic. The MMO genre has unparalleled potential to draw players into a world of visual splendor and action-packed gameplay, a place where they can forge a new identity in the fires of adversity. Fantasy MMOs, in particular, give the player an opportunity to create, customize, and lead a unique hero through a world of danger and beauty. Divine Souls, however, lacks all of these elements, and falls short of the quality MMO mark by a wide margin.
For the second time in it's short life, Divine Souls died again. It already died once when Outspark died and it died again when it was returned back to GamePrix. T_T
I heard 3 things that like about this article: free, beta and free. Good stuff, I need something good to play on my comp since I've been giving my attention all to my xbox 360
I think I'll pass on this one, but it's always nice to see free stuff.
This game actually looks surprisingly good, although I do mostly mean that literally in that it LOOKS fun. We'll see if it lives up to the promise.
cool, i'll check it out
