Over at Game Kudos, Ruser Saldana writes his thoughts on 505's latest sports title, Backbreaker:
"Backbreaker is a new football game without the NFL license. It offers a different perspective on football and utilizes new technology for amazingly realistic tackles...
The game’s presentation is emblematic of Backbreaker’s overall problem: while the tackling animation is exciting, the rest feels limited and uninspired. The game lacks variety, character, and depth. Still, there is a good foundation here: the running game and defense are especially strong pillars to build on."
With Football season upon us, TechRaptors Robert Grosso tackles one of the best alternatives to Madden from last generation, Backbreaker.
Michael, Ray, and the best of the worst for the week of October 14th!
There are many sports franchises that are fantastic editions to the world of gaming, deserving both as an edition to their respective gaming field and to video gaming at large. Other franchises, however, have seen their time. It’s time for these franchises to go the way of the dinosaur before they get even worse than they already are.
Should be dissolved too. The yearly additions are essentially the same except for rosters, schedules, and new stadiums.
I would go as far as to say that most of these games are actually worse than the previous iteration.
