BeefJack: "Puzzle Agent is a good idea on paper. Take a quirky comic by a cult-loved illustrator and blend it with creative puzzles like the ones seen in the incredibly popular Professor Layton. Throw in some creepy lawn gnomes and a Frances McDormand wannabe, and you’ve got yourself an arcade hit. Unfortunately, Puzzle Agent trips over itself and just falls flat. The plot and characters never seem to come together."
