I think we all know a game has to play good, instead of just looking nice.

Lair was trying new stuff and as a result suffered performance issues. Gameplay was okish. Nothing brilliant. Was a shame as i'd love a decent game with dragons in it.

Uncharted 2 has great gameplay, visuals etc.

Infamous has good graphics and good gameplay.

I have not played crackdown 2, but have played the first one and did not like it. Not only did i not like the graphics, just reminded me of GTA.

And i hate GTA - infact all of them with a passion. But at least i've tried them and know i don't like them.

Games in 3rd person i only like in SP.

Even though i know gears 2 and uncharted 2 play well in MP. It's not my thing.

Well it is an xbox 360 1st party title, no wonder it's being trolled by 'certain' factions of n4g.

And seeing the game only came out of strict embargo at 11pm AEST, (5.30am PST), and NOT been played by these so calle gamers, then I find it difficult for anyone other than those who were given the code last week (MS allotted the code to sites via a PR company) to be able to know whether or nt the game is better or worse than the first game, or how it even plays.

OXCGN has no favourites, and will award a score to a game no matter what platform it is on. We've never given a game a poor score becauseit's a PS3 game or Wiigame etc.

But immature ppl here on n4g who have not even played the game, certain show where their childish loyalties lay.

And ppl wonder why other gamers believe sony fans are the biggest fanboys out. Perhaps because it's true.

Stop diss things just because they are on other platforms, and try playing them, we do, and we enjoy it. Loved Uncharted (1-2)< Metal Gear Solid 4, Infamous etc etc, and we reviewed them, check our review listing to see their score, then call us biased.

I only wish n4g admin could eliminate half of the idiot fanboys here, and they'd have a half decent site.

This game sounds like a lot of fun actually. Somehow I doubt most of the people bagging it have actually played it.

i liked the first, but i really hope that they address some of the things niggled and annoyed for the second

According to the review, someone that has played it, it seems they have, and the huge improvement in Multiplayer needs are great. Showing you need to team up more, much like in Left 4 Dead 1-2 etc.

Plus many of the old issues aren't there now, and there's a reasonable story line to it now, that you can follow - or not, what ever suits the player.

Shame ppl can't read reviews these days (no offense to you of course, just others)

Read a review? Nah...just go to almighty Metacritic to make up your mind like a sheep.

Some will think this game fun, others won't but reading about it will tell you if it is up your alley or not before you decide. A number doesn't really do that.
