Medal of Honor Beta: An Underwhelming Experience. We've Rolled these DICE before

I have to agree... After playing the beta for a hour I was left with the feeling that I've done this all before. The graphics are OK, sound is good and the gameplay is typical COD. It even has the lag of COD... I'm hoping the single player is a lot better than the multiplayer currently is.

I was really planning on buying this game until I played the beta. I truly hope they make some major changes to the online before launch because right now only the single player is appealing.

Gonna buy it for single player only. Don't care about its multiplayer part too much. Since it's a Medal Of Honor game, the story should be what matters most. If I'd want to play multiplayer I'd play Bad Company 2 which is complete, which is also made by DICE and which is awesome.

Ya I want to play the campaign for sure, but the only way I pick this up is up to 4 player coop through the campaign. I will never touch the competitive side after playing the beta.

I'll most likely end up waiting for a price drop, have too many other games on my list and this isn't exactly at the top. The single player is certainly one of the appealing points that caught my eye, was never much for online.

Ive posted the same comment on almost article about MOH. You could save yourself money and get Bad company 2 if you want the same experience.
The lagg in COD - mainly just MW2, people with a 3 bar against people with a 4 bar are at a great disadvantage.
I dont understand why they didnt evolve the engine..
Seriosuly WTF.
I cannot buy this game due to that face, its DICE being as lazy as possible.
Im gonna stick with black ops, which will have some 4 player co-op also.

Graphics have horrible jaggies all over the place

I think SINGLE PLAYER will be the best part of this shooter

Online is BC all over again with no cars and small levels.

But again wow the game has some HORRIBLE JAGGIES, DICE is

horrible at AA or something because wow it looks trash.

MW2 looks better then any of these shooters and that alone

puts them over the top.

ive played this on the PS3 beta, and it seems ok, for all of the people who havent played this one go on the PS3 beta. its decent, its a good beta,nothing special though ok, back on my PS3.

Uh that's what everyone is talking about is the ps3 beta, xbox live is working on it so it run's right, unlike psn. These are the type of betas psn is gonna get for the playstation plus, their gonna rip people off. The should take the $50 for a year and update the structure of psn.

what system the beta is on is irrelevant. The majority of complaints focus on the how similar it is to BC2.

Guns need more recoil,Better hit detection,The ability
to play with Taliban or Tier1 weapons regardless of which
faction your on.Maybe bigger maps as well since the player
count is 24 and not 12 like in COD yet the maps are about
the same size.I know its only 2 maps but every map on MoH
needs to be bigger then COD maps.Those are a few things
that need improving feel free to add other stuff that
people think needs improving.

PS.MoH needs to lead and NOT follow.

After playing the beta i came to the conclusion that the game is a unnecessary mess. Nothing speciall whatsoever about this game, its very unorganized, unsatisfying and gives me reason whatsoever to go back and play it.

Its very run of the mill and very generic. Terrible game, but hey there is one good thing about it.. ill have a extra $60.00 in my pocket due to the fact i can now scratch this game off my "to buy" list for this year.

I'm a HUGE fan of modern combat sims and have been looking forward to the 360 beta for sometime now. The game play footage they showed at E3 looked like this maybe the game to beat this holiday season. What little they showed of the new CoD left me with a somewhat empty feeling. It looks like a MW2 add on!

You all have to remember that this is a beta and the game has awhile before release. I'm sure that dice has taken in the comments players of the beta are making. Lets hope that the 360 lag ( funny ,the PS3 plays alot smoother ) issue that plagues Battlefield BC2 will NOT show up when MoH is released.

NOW,Lets get that xbox 360 beta out there!!!! I'm sick of seeing the "it will be out next week" message on the MoH web site...It's been up there for over 2 weeks NOW!

Look i'm Australian and im playing on the American servers im lagging soooo much! but still im owning people I get a few good kills. The small map for the BETA of MoH is great because its small, and because its small its good for Run n gunners and campers. MW2 Online is HORRIBLE because the maps are HUGE witch is bad because the campers have a big advantage! And by the way for the haters who dont like the multiplayer for MoH NEWS FLASH ITS THE BETA NOT THE ACTUAL GAME Beta is to test out the game and tell the developers what to fix. The people who dont like the online for MoH is because you cant camp as much. Of course theres a few camping spots but not as much in MW2. The best in the COD Franchise is STILL COD4. When Medal Of Honor comes out im going to have fun.

When you roll the DICE your probably gonna end up with low numbers, much like their games.

Laggyfield Lag Company 2 was good until they "patched" it and made all the weapons BB guns and increased the lag.

Sniping feels off balance to me in FPSs. Especially during those defend type mode. iits more better in FPS when ppl walk around.
