E3 2010: Kane and Lynch 2 Developer Video Interview

DualShockers writes, "One of the game’s that seemed like it had a lot to prove at this years E3 was Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days. After all of the controversy that surrounded the first title, the team at IO Interactive and Square Enix decided taking their time before brining these two homicidal maniacs back for another round. It seems like that wait was a great thing because at E3 we witnessed what appeared to be a very polished sequel, with much better visuals, gameplay and more over the top action than the first. Our very own Al Zamora had the chance to chat with the games art director Rasmus Poulson, about the various changes to the sequel and to fill you all in on what to expect this time around. Here’s a quick quote and probably our favorite from all of E3 “Kane and Lynch 2 will throw you around like a little girl, and you will like it.” That quote was said in a bad ass european accent that unfortunately I can’t replicate..."

I really hope this game is better than it's predecessor, because the idea behind it is awesome.

I don't know but the cool thing is the American accent is pretty popular over seas.

From what I got to play of this game I'm not digging it but I will say it already felt better than the predecessor. I guess we will have to wait and see.

The things that were very cool about the demo at E3 were bad-ass atmosphere, dialog, and a very overall feel of danger and immersion. It still has hope yet!

I thought the first one was pretty good, it wasn't the best game but it was decent. Never got to play it online but the second one looks pretty promising. I still would rather prefer they made Hitman instead but I guess this will do.

I don't really digg Kane & Lynch because I feel like it's very slow paced, the controls suck, and all I can do is think about how many other games I could be playing that don't make me bored and want to smash my head into my desk.

On a side note, Hitman is one of my favorite games (livid that they made such a terrible movie out of it though). If they make a new Hitman I will definitely be expecting greatness beyond Kane & Lynch.

I will reserve judgement of Kane & Lynch 2 until I see more of it but from what I played it looks like a great improvement, but perhaps not my bag of chips.
