IGN writes: "Gamevil's Baseball Superstars remains one of the best diamond contests in the App Store, so it should be little surprise that Soccer Superstars – which uses a similar RPG formula to create an over-the-top career mode and introduces super-players with incredible shots – scores, too. Soccer Superstars is also an entirely accessible game that any gamer put off by hardcore simulation can easily pick up and play, thanks in no small part to its automatic controls option that takes player movement out of your hands and lets you concentrate on passing and shooting. That may sound like a game that plays itself, but it's actually quite a fun little challenge as you must adapt to a screen full of little players with minds of their own".
