Canabalt: Behind the Game
Canabalt’s premise is simple; you’re trying to escape a crumbling city. Your character runs automatically, leaving you to click whenever you think you need to jump. The longer you run across and through the buildings without hitting anything, the more your character begins to speed up. But, as soon as you hit the side of a building, or you run into a random flying robot, you’re dead. Game over. Would you like to try again?
But alas, my concern isn’t about the very addicting game. My concern is with what is going on behind our character.
