Lucha Fury Announced for PSN, PC

French developers Punchers Impact have today announced a new multiplayer beat-’em-up to be released on PC and via PSN – the first beat-’em-up, allegedly, to combine the world of comics with the world of Mexican wrestling.

The game, entitled Lucha Fury, follows the story of four young wrestlers, each terribly addicted to energy drink. One day, there is no energy drink left. Oh no! A conspiracy is afoot! “The most incredible worldwide conspiracy ever,” according to the press release.

Chris W. writes: "Lucha Fury is a good-looking game, and you can tell that Punchers Impact treated the game as a labor of love. Four luchador wrestlers (who are also slackers) come together to stop a shortage of their favorite energy drink only to stumble upon something more sinister; this is no normal shortage. Ancient Gods are stealing the world’s supply of Pollojo, because they don’t think the human race deserves to have it. Quite a silly premise for a story, but is it enough to keep you entertained throughout the game?"
