Itchy Thumbs says: Following the release of The Beatles: Rock Band last year, speculation was rife as to which band would be the next to get the full game treatment from Harmonix. After legendary names such as Queen, The Who and The Rolling Stones appeared in news stories and rumours, it came as rather a surprise when it was announced that US punk-rockers Green Day were the chosen subject.

The choice doesn’t seem quite as unusual when you take into account that the band has over 20 years over history behind it, and several well-known songs that have filled the airwaves during that time. Even if you’re not a fan, the chances are that most people would recognise a few of the 44 tracks on offer here.
