Iwata: Nintendo 3DS will be more expensive than current models

In an current interview Iwata stated that they have been experimenting with 3D optics since the Virtual Boy, tried it out with Game Boy Advance and Game Cube but the technology was too expensive.

Now with the 3DS it is possible, but the system will be more expensive than the current models. What we can expect after the jump.
