Splice Rant: What the hell was that?

SFG writes: The first time I saw a preview for this movie I knew I had to see it. I was ecstatic. Sitting in the theater, watching the previews, I decided to take a quick look at Metacritic.com and thought since Entertainment Weekly gave it a A- and a few others liked it then great!
