Are Accessories Becoming Our Hardware Upgrades?
Back in the day, when a console was outdated, the developer would just create a new one (which was about every 3-5 years). The NES became the SNES, which became the N64, etc. buying an accessory meant getting another controller. With this most recent batch of consoles, however, that no longer seems to be the case. With motion control becoming more and more popular with consoles, is it possible that companies are now upgrading our consoles by adding accessories to them?
