Tony Hawk Ride Controller Adapted Into Real Skateboard

Apparently disappointed with the lack of authenticity in Activision’s Tony Hawk: Ride, a few gamers have taken it upon themselves to convert the game’s “controller”, a plastic skateboard, into a real skateboard, by resurfacing it and drilling wheels into the base.

As it happens, it’s actually turned out to be a fairly solid controller, showing that the annoying plastic board is pretty durable. They also manage to pull off a flying lotus, so it’s worth checking out the video if you’re in any way interested in skateboarding, or just want to see some people mangle a Ride controller.
