Title Update 1.02 Now Available for Red Dead Redemption on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

Rockstar writes - "An automatic title update (version 1.02) is now available for Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You will be prompted to download the title update as soon as you sign into PSN or Xbox LIVE.

i got him and the Deadly Assassins outfit right away but he could never do the mission, but now finally the crying can stop, ha ha ha

They fixed some game play issues but it seems graphical glitches have increased since the patch. For example twice now I've played poker on an invisible table with all the other players faces blurred out, very strange. The random lighting changes seem more frequent now as well.

But Mo van Barr did show up on the first bounty notice in Armadillo, so I've completed everything now. time to move on to some other games.

* Fixed audible glitch at the end of some cutscenes
* Fixed Solomon's Folly Action Area not ending after posse leader teleports in late
* Corrected Social Club 100% Tracker so stats update properly
* Various multiplayer issues addressed including load screen hang-ups and UI glitches
* Eliminated miscellaneous game crashes

They nerfed the XP given from all MP hideouts. I like the work they're trying to do with fixing stuff and all, but the nerfing is pretty annoying.

I think the game was a 8.8~9.5
not a 10 BY A LONG SHOT
The competitive is sub-par.
free roam is fun but laggy and bugged.
And there isn't much to do at this point in Free Roam.
I'm eagerly awaiting the co-op dlc though.

Oh, and the Single Player was amazing.
10/10 for that.
Competitive, 6~8/10.

the list above doesn't mention a problem I encountered in which I could not get a bounty at the last location needed for 100%.

I kept trying but after Barranca came up 11 times in a row I decided to try something different. I killed everyone except the bounty target and just kept chasing him until he arrived at the last location I needed. It only matters where you kill them, not where you found them. So I killed him at the other location and finished off my 100% completion.

I was able to get passed a part that froze before, the game now has better framerate also on the PS3.

~this video~ it explains how Ps3 rdr patch 1.02 u can delete it from game data, and then load rdr cancel the patch then go to single player and go to lan and you can play and have regular nice amounts of xp :D

Theres no telling if it works for 360s rdr yet.

They also reduced the amount of XP you get in the Gang Hideouts. Good thing I already got to level 50, its gonna take people 3-4 times longer now to rank up xD

if anyone has ever run into the glitch where some of the ai at gang hideouts are stuck in walls or rooms you cant get to. and they are impossible to spot, even though they are clearly on the radar. just throw some dynomite at the wall and it will kill them.... just thought some would like to know... peace.

true:) but i had one such glitch and my dynomite hasn't been unlocked yet...but i tried to se a knife and it worked:D apparently guy was turned away and my character went inside of the rock and slit his throat o_o

I had a similar issue with enemies stuck in the cliff at pikes basin. I just had to wait until they stuck their arm out of the cliff and then I could shoot them.

This game is good imo. The only thing I hate is, and I'm not sure this has to do with my rank (6) but in free roam it seems like everyone is out to kill me. I often run into level 21's and above trying to kill me instead of helping me blast through the hideouts. I like to go it alone unless it's some one I personally know.

Yup, lots of A-holes online. Even people in my posse repeatedly tried to kill me. It doesn't matter anymore to me though, I'm moving on to other games now.

even if i dont know you but i cant talk or even type which dumb ,i cant afford the mic so i was trying type with keyboard and you cant ,yesterday i was killing good guys some person shot me up in building when i had heat on me ,then i did hide out with people 2 guys starting shooting at me and the guys i was with ,then after update when i died screen keep repeating instead spawn me back ,i hate people with sniper rifle i be far away they snipe me off the roof ,if i could invite people i play with to private game i would it alot better then being shoot at or annoyed

well,when i wnet on free roam for the first few times i was trying to help people with gang hideouts...untill i started to get shot at every freaking time-after the mission was done.and now i just kill everyone i encounter.(including my friend i play with,but we do that for fun:) once he went on a rock next to a waterfall,set himself on fire and fell down,screaming.it was soo funny^^)

WildWest is about good, bad, and specially ugly men :D One thing I was a bit dissapointed, was that you couldn't do own character. Main characters style is awesome, but I wanted to make my own Eastwood or Lee Van Cleef..

I hope this fixes the Mo Van Barr thing whereby if you actually captured him with the last update, it ticks of the achievement thing for your deadly assassin outfit.

They didn't even mention that they reduced the earned experience from doing gang hideouts... I hate that they made it so the fastest way to level up is doing the free roam hideouts instead of the Gang matches. They could have at least made it so that you earned more money in gang matches instead of just reduced hideout points. The gang matches don't get repetitive like the hideouts. I think Rockstar needs to work on their multiplayer skills. Even in GTAIV they made it where you had to repeat those missions you got tired of doing over and over to reach rank 10. I don't know what makes them think people want to level up by doing the same sh*t over and over.

Lot of people ranting about how buggy the game is.. There is lot's of bugs, but this games scope is so Massive, so they are rare, and mostly just hilarious XD If you guys love western, buy this game now! It'äs that good. Tought my experiences are only from singleplayer, going to beat it before mp.

I've only encountered a few bugs, and for a free roam bugs are always expected. Don't kidd yourself. Honestly wondering how many actually own the game and aren't going around being the "Nay say crowd".

got red dead redemtion a week ago,and i like it alot..some grownup babys have been crying about the game is just like gta with horses and full with bugs..the why dont i have any prob online ore in the single player?the game is alot more fun then gta.gta online is very different from rdr online,i didnt even like gta that much online..but some people think its the same game cause the same people made red dead and gta!then its like if you gonna get a fps game , then dont bother,cause its just like a fps game.i like red dead alot,with alot of cool missions and a really cool online gameplay.if you gonna get a fps game , then dont bother,cause its just like a fps game.so to u people that say its just like gta,then check out all the new shit you d in rdr and the wicked graphics.i think its alot more fun then gta
