‘WipeOut 2097’ coming to PS online Store

Sony will relaunch its online PS Store with a rush of downloadable games including the acclaimed PSone hit WipeOut 2097.

The hi-octane hover racer received review scores in the 90s during its debut and this re-release will headline what Sony hopes will become a flurry of activity on its online portal.

The firm is also launching Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and Medievil.

Also available will be a Gran Turismo 5: Prologue video, showcasing the game at this year’s E3 event in Santa Monica.

All content on the PS Store can be downloaded onto a PlayStation 3 and Portable PlayStation console.
