Will This Be The Best E3 Ever?

Last year’s E3 was one of the best in recent memory. Sony and Microsoft, both, had very solid conferences filled with AAA titles and delivered great content for their consoles. Nintendo had one of their best showings in recent memory as well by showcasing two Mario’s and debuting Metroid: Other M. This year expectations are only higher for the most important video game conference in the world. All three are slated to show major franchises, motion controls, and possibly new hardware. Can this year’s E3, from what we know and what we don’t know, be the best E3 ever?

This should be one interesting E3 considering Sony already announced 4 big exclusives. I wonder what Microsoft is going to have up their sleeves exclusive wise?

Let's take a look at what Microsoft has brewing:

A 17 year old girl to co-host - CHECK
Celebrity cameos - Ice T and Drake in Bromance of War 3 - CHECK
Red balls, blue balls, and green balls - TRIPLE CHECK
Halo: Combat Evolved version 4.0 - CHECK
Milo and blue balls?! MEGATON CHECK
Multiplatform video at the beginning, middle, and end of conference - NO DOUBT ABOUT IT CHECK

With the above said, I think Microsoft will win E3 this year.

For Microsoft, yes (as long as Natal is more than just a platform for casual shovelware).

Sony n MS always have a good show. MS has been quiet, so it looks like they have something.

Sony already showed alot of their stuff. If they just show what they have been showing for the last month or two, Sony is in a great spot.

I'm rarely excited about nintendo stuff.. But I think this E3 nintendo will redeem it's previous not-so awesome E3s.

So, yeah, I'm betting on the best E3 yet!

Now that look at, there's too much hype for this year's E3, so this may be a bad one. But I'm hope I'm wrong. I hope Sony still have some games left on the table seeing how they announced 4 major titles already. Nobody really cares about Nintendo's conference that much, but I'm hoping they announce a brand new Zelda that will release this year. And as far Microsoft, I don't know what to expect from them. Every single video that was shown on Natal was "straight ass" and I really don't know what game they can make for that system that will make any gamer go out there and buy it. So I'm just looking forward too the Gears and Fable series. But I'm hoping MS conference is way better than last year's conference.

I hope they concentrate on games not natal or move flapping your arms like an chicken is a novelty that will wear off in a couple of years leave it to nintendo. MS and SONY just give us great games!!!

I'm hoping for big things this year, though E3 quite often leaves people disappointed in one way or another.

I just hope Sony haven't given TOO MUCH away before E3 that they don't have any surprises we haven't already heard.

It certainly could be, the volume of info and games I think is incredible.

Look at the games Sony has announced recently that will be there, not to mention the games they will announce...both regular games and Move games. Then you have all the Natal stuff from MS along with Gears 3 and whatever else they have to show, Nintendo will likely have a lot to show too.

Then you've got whatever Sony announce for PSN, MS usually like to announce new stuff for LIVE also so there's a bunch of news there too.

AND THEN you've got all the 3rd party publishers on top of this showing their games for everything from mobile phone games to consoles to PC games.

E3 should be pretty amazing.

lol people only think its the best e3 just cause the news of move,natal and the new ds2 or even the psp2. obviously current franchises would get there part 2,3 or 4 ina game series,the gossip and talk about wot new games are coming up have already been known,its more of a confirmation. but anyways,im still excited

I don't know if its going to suck. But I do think Sony and Microsoft wont have as many "secret" titles to announce as some people think.
You're right Move and Natal are the highlights for both of them and they will need to spend a significant amount of time hyping up the new attachments to drum up the interest(and sales) when they are released this year. Microsoft has hired Cirque du Soleil for Natal promo, surely its going to be a significant amount of time and you can clearly see what their focus is at.
