IGN writes: "Carcassonne, popular on the board game circuit and Xbox Live Arcade, has finally landed on the iPhone – where it belongs. (Actually, it also belongs on the iPad, but that's not happening until later this year in a free update.) It's a strategy game where you drop terrain tiles on the board to create a city. Tiles must be linked by features, such as cities and roads. Once a tile is down, players then drop a Meeple (a follower) to solidify a claim. When the supply of tiles has been exhausted, the game ends and points are tallied by counting up Meeples and the winner is declared".
The Humble Asmodee Digital Play With Friends Bundle is out now. It features The Lord of the Rings Adventure Card Game, Splendor, Mysterium, Small World 2, Carcassonne, and more.
Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride are free at Epic Games Store starting today and running until February 13 at 10 AM. Once you claim them, they’re yours to keep.
One good way to take your mind off the frightening Coronavirus news that seems to be everywhere these days is to settle in for a nice relaxing digital recreation of a great board game...like Pandemic. Fortunately, from February 6th through the 13th, you'll be able to download Pandemic, Carcassonne, and Ticket to Ride free from the Epic Games Store.
