Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time. 2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
If so, that's being developed & published by Idea Factory. Compile Heart has nothing to do with it (Thank God for that).
Thought Compile Heart was one of the companies lending characters. Was also speaking in general as in regards to a US of Neptune. If these guys are offing a second game, NIS or Atlus, both of whom offer quirkier titles, will put that one out. @kagon01: My issue isn't - wholly - with the DL-only option, but the price. The first game should be $30. Maybe $40, and by that I mean $39.99. The only reason its $45 is the 360 disc version which has extras. Nevermind that by all rights its a PS2 game. Something that proabbly could have been done if the devs had the GOW2 engine or tools.
I approve of this god damn message. Could have gotten my 60 bucks if they just put it on a disc.
Another exclusive damnn the ps3 keeps on rollin wit games awesome ;)
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
There's no porn just some sexual innuendos but that's it. Also it is a great game by itself, maybe not graphically but everything else is top tier.
so it had some kind of "top tier" porn story jk
Yup, it's a decent game. I just hate that a move has to go first before any attack options.
soon as it goes to 360 for sure..
Yeah the only reason I did not purchase the first was because no disc. Does anyone know why no disc for PS3 and a disc for the 360?
I remember my friend saying that the download was somewhere over 10gb. I'm pretty sure Microsoft has a limit on file size for the Marketplace.
Ohhhhhh thats why. The dvd's 360 uses can only hold 8.5 gb of space. It would of needed to be 2 disks for the 360 version. edit: my post is a bit wrong?! 360 dvds only hold 8.5 gb. How was it only on 1 disk if the file size was around 9 gb?? Somethings not right.
they could've compressed the 360 version. I'm sure they were able to cut off 2gb with some compression
but i didnt let the long download keep me away
@Ed Wood It's because SCEA(Sony America) doesn't allow games to be on disks without English voice overs included. So pretty much they'd need to give it TONNES of English voices overs just to put it on the PS3, but there's no rule against them putting on PSN, voice overs or not. They also made the PS3 version a lot cheaper and gave the PS3 owners free DLC while 360 owners have to pay more for the disk and pay for every DLC.
Yakuza 3 is on a disk and it does not have English voice overs
You somehow forgot to mention all the stuff that came in the 360 box that made it SWEEEET. Soundtrack, Mousepad, Pillow Case and more for $54 on Amazon. I like how you didnt bring that up you lopsided fanboy.
Shovelware? This game is freakin sweet. They advertise it as some kind of anime porn or whatever, it has absolutely nothing to do with that. It plays like FF Tactics. The moves are great, game play is great, though can get a little repetitive, but overal its a decent 8. The only thing it has to do with "porn" is that you have to talk to girls, which are your comrades and build up a relationship with them so that you can have a child with them and use said child in the next gen.
sweet i loved the first one and im sure ill love the 2nd but ellis is still the best no matter what -.-
Yakuza 3 is on a disk and it does not have English voice overs.
ok ok ..we need agarest ZERO ( prequel ) to reach the us or eur shores Before my interest in that goes up
got mine with titty mouse pad :o
That it will hit western shores or the old continent? The "known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US" seems a bit misleading as the article doesn't mention anything about anyone releasing the game here. Hope it does tough. --- Also agarest is still on a disc(Ps3), just not in the US :p has even limited edition.
It's on Disk in the EU for any US PS3 owners who don't want to download nearly 20GB. They cocked the first's release up badly: 2 years late, only subtitles (because they take 2 years, don't they?), no DLC... unless you buy it from US PSN which gets you DLC and Trophies (No trophies for EU? WTF). Let's hope 2 will be more consistent across regions.
It was on a disc in europe. Which is how I and other smart people bought it.
