Tecmo Bowl Throwback on Xbox LIVE Arcade has a lot of similarities to Tecmo Super Bowl on NES. Unfortunately, this includes the bad stuff.
fun game overall...wish they would have allowed you to reverse the plays like on the nes... for when your opponents gotta lil too smart for your fab 4 passing plays you could swith it around on them run a reverse route.
Would have been nice to allow the revese player selection while on offense, and on defense. (scrolling thru the players backwards) Irritating at times because the player cant be selected. Or not being able to make the tackle because your guy will not dive, or cant switch to him.
I guess that just makes it a little more even to not be able to choose people on the fly. (worked great back in the day though)
hoping for a patch that may allow that. great game, well worth the 10.00 just needs a little patch to make it perfect. this got me back into the football game genre.
