CVG: During a recent press event for forthcoming J-shooter-with-giant-pulsating egg-sacs Lost Planet 2, we had the exceptional good fortune to bag an entire hour of alone time with Capcom's (in)famous producer Jun Takeuchi.
He was the much-pilloried chap behind Resident Evil 5, in case you were wondering, but don't get the pitchforks out just yet because Takeuchi had some very surprising, interesting and remarkably honest things to say about the survival horror outing that divided an industry, his employers Capcom and a whole host of other red-hot game industry issues. Get ready because he ain't holding back...
Capcom's Jun Takeuchi and Bandai Namco Katsuhiro Harada were quizzed by Weekly Famitsu on their impressions and ideas about the info Sony shared about PS5.
I wonder what jrpg games gonna look like and perform. I never really payed attention to audio like that considering my setup is the tv audio. I did try headphones through controller but I dont think it was that good that way. As a music lover sound is important as visual so I'm glad they stepping up in that department.
Capcom seems like it has quite the surprise in store for 2019. We already know that Capcom is working on Devil May Cry 5, the Resident Evil 2 remake, and Ominusha: Warlords -- all of them due to release before the first quarter is through. Capcom's working on a fourth game too, though.
yesss i hope so .....but i dont want to be as dark as RE2 Remake if it is Dino 1 (as capcom has a tendency lately to make their games annoyingly dark).....to be honest i would prefer a Dino Crisis 2 reboot with RE4 style gameplay
A darker Dino Crisis makes far more sense, Dinosaurs should be scary, it's supposed to be a horror game, not an action adventure.
Why hasn't this happened yet? The success of the new Jurassic Park movies shows there is a lot of interest in all things dinosaurs. A Dino Crisis remake of the original would make so much sense, a horror game with dinosaurs is just what we need.
If they will get their heads out of the RE franchise, probably more IPs can get the chance they deserve, as much as I enjoy the franchise (not counting 5 and 6).

RE7 is a great game in it's own respect.
Personally I didn't like it at first because I thought it was going to play like Outlast, but after the first 1st hour, the game turns into a classic Resident Evil with elements from all Resident Evils, but also with new elements that keeps it fresh.
How is RE7 not RE? Because it has a different camera perspective? Then I guess Fallout 3 isn't Fallout and GTA 3 isn't GTA.
I really liked RE6, it was a poor Resident Evil, but I wish the playstyle would have been used again in a new I.P
Well it's a good thing they changed their mind. That would have been game over for the series if it had been like 6.
Well, on metacritic between re6 and 7 there is TOO small difference in score, but re6 earned Capcom much more money than 7 did. This re7 is a great game mind me, but it is not a resident evil. There are no over the top action like in 1,2,3, code veronica. No iconic Re characters, NO ZOMBIES. I say again i do like re7 a lot, but it is not near as good as previous re titles
