GFB: Zombie Estate (Xbox 360) Review

AJ Lysiak writes: "Xbox 360's Indie Game marketplace is flooded with Zombie titles. So what makes Zombie Estate worth playing? Short answer: Just about everything. Though also being a survival and wave-based game, Zombie Estate is well-rounded enough to potentially topple the original king “I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MBIES 1NIT!!!1.” While the genres of both titles are one in the same, Zombie Estate can never be called a clone. 80MSP ($1.00) will net you one of the most addicting and valuable games available on the entirety of the Indie Marketplace."

Indie Game Review: Zombie Estate - Ordinary Gamer

Zombie Estate is a very pixely zombie survival indie game. It’s quite fun and has great replayability, thanks to its many enemy types, playable characters, and usable guns. I downloaded this game thinking it was going to be the average mediocre indie game that you spend twenty minutes playing then forget about it and let it rot in your hard drive. This is not the case, as I’ve put more time into this game than I did titles such as Homefront. However, remember that this is a game that costs a dollar and I will review it as such.

GGC's The Broke Gamer: Zombie Estate (XLIG)

The Great Gaming Crusade: "Zombie games are spreading faster than a zombie infection, and soon the whole world might be taken over if we don’t find a cure. Wait, do we want a cure? I love zombie games, TV shows, comics, all of it! I came across Zombie Estate goofing around on XBL when my girlfriend was over. The funny 8-bit-like graphics caught my attention. With a laugh I downloaded the trial. Fifteen minutes later I was punching in my credit card number to unlock the full game! It is so addicting! Mind you, there is a reason this game is only 80 Microsoft points. The graphics are very primitive, but also have a bit of charm and humor by being so crude."

HonestGamers Indie Review // Zombie Estate

Gary Hartley says: Zombie Estate is a game not really worth your time to play alone, but is an instant crowd pleaser if you own extra pads and possess friends. It’s an unapologetic first-gen version of Left 4 Dead that calls for little else than a desperate scramble to stay alive. It’s a game where you’ll exhaust your ammo supply trying to survive one huge attack of priest zombies, then wonder how you’ll live through the assault of bull-rushing skeletons before finding the answer is you can’t. Not easily, and not without a lot of struggle and bit of luck.
